Math Winner Games!
Math Winner Games is just what your math class needs in the cold, dreary winter! Students in groups will name a country, design a flag, and compete with their country in math skills events trying to earn medals as shown below! (Look at those creative country names--who doesn't want to live in Bacontopia?!?! Lol!)
Skills practiced include coordinate grids, multiplication, long division, add and subtract fractions, multiply fractions, add and subtract decimals, multiply decimals, and polygons! WOW---that's a lot of exciting math practice!!!
Each competition is labeled as Math Winner Games I or II.
Math Winner Games I is for Grades 4-5.
Math Winner Games II is for Grades 5-6.
For each event, choose whether I or II is right for your students! You might even use both if you want them to get extra practice! Lots of options for teachers!
This can be great for state testing prep as teachers will see in which events students struggled so they can know what to reteach and review before state testing!
Go for the goal!
Which country will dominate the competition?
