Let's race across the world as we practice math skills! Use your math knowledge of fractions and decimals to get you through nine countries, collecting stamps as you go! Practice those critical skills of adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing fractions and decimals!
Decimal Doctor
Students can practice being surgeons as they operate on Decimal Dan in this exciting activity that reviews comparing, ordering, adding, and subtracting decimals.
Students will solve problems for Decimal Dan's organs. If the chief surgeon agrees with their diagnosis of his organ (teacher agrees with the math problems solved correctly), then the students get to operate (color, cut out, and attach organs).
My students had an incredible time with this activity!
American History Math Bundle
Interdisciplinary lessons combining American history and math! This bundle contains history and math passages (where students solve math problems to fill in the blank on a history passage), a coloring page with math, a Civil War Underground Railroad activity, and fraction word pages where words are created with fraction knowledge of Jamestown, the American Revolution, Civil War, and Oregon Trail.
What a great way to incorporate history into math class or math into history class!
